As part of the EducationUSA global advising network, the Fulbright Greece Advising Center supports students and scholars interested in studying, researching, or teaching in the United States. Through individual advising and nationwide outreach, Fulbright ensures access to accurate information on U.S. programs, scholarships, and financial aid.

Our slogan, “Fulbright on the Road,” reflects our commitment to reaching student communities nationwide.  Fulbright staff travel throughout the country—both in person and virtually—to deliver presentations at Greek high schools, universities, and public events, promoting U.S. educational opportunities and scholarships. We work closely with school counselors, faculty, and university career services to co-organize and participate in these initiatives.

In 2024–2025, Fulbright staff reached over 1,700 students through sessions on topics such as U.S. admissions, graduate study, and Fulbright programs. Outreach included visits to:

• National and Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens School of Fine Arts, University of Patras, University of the Peloponnese, Tripoli

• University of Crete- Heraklion, Technical University of Crete -Chania, Hellenic Mediterranean University of Crete and others

Fulbright staff also participated in outreach events like the 3rd International Universities Expo (Pierce), American Spaces Piraeus, and the 2025 Summer School at EKEFE Demokritos.

Through these efforts, Fulbright Greece ensures that students, faculty, educators and researchers from every part of the country—regardless of background or location—can access life-changing opportunities in the United States.
