Fulbright alumni continue to shape the world in powerful and lasting ways. With a global community of more than 400,000 individuals from over 160 countries, Fulbrighters span disciplines and professions—scientists and storytellers, educators and entrepreneurs, artists, policymakers, government officials, leaders in public life, and leaders across sectors—united by a commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering mutual understanding. Among them are 62 Nobel Laureates, 93 Pulitzer Prize winners, 82 MacArthur Fellows, and recipients of the Fields Medal, Abel Award, and National Book Award. Beyond these honors, thousands of Fulbright alumni lead in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors—driving progress, fostering dialogue, and building more inclusive societies.
