Two days of active participation for 37 Secondary School Educators, alumni of the Fulbright scholarship programs for educators, marked the annual Fulbright Train the Trainers Meeting and Workshop that was held this year in Athens at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.

The Greek Diaspora Fellowship Program (GDFP) is a scholar exchange program established in 2016 and managed by the Institute of International Education in collaboration with the Fulbright Foundation in Greece for Greek universities to host Greek- or Cypriot-born scholars.

The Fulbright Foundation Greece with the support of The Hellenic Initiative invited all alumni from the scholarship programs for Secondary School Educators to Thessaloniki for a major Train the Trainers Meeting.

Fulbright Greece collaborated with filmmaker alumna Eirini Steirou, and cinematographer Antonis Katrakazis to produce a series of portraits of US and Greek scholars, who share their Fulbright experience.
