U.S. Educational System

The U.S. educational higher education structure is very diverse. It is made up of undergraduate institutions such as the 2-year community colleges, 4-year colleges and universities. There are also many Master’s and Ph.D. programs that can be found at graduate “schools”. Many of these institutions are public while many others are private. The majority of these accredited entities are non-profit while some are for-profit.
