Join Fulbright Greece for International Education Week.

We are looking forward to International Education week (IEW) 2022, November 14-18!
IEW is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education with partners worldwide to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, conduct research in the U.S., and exchange experiences.

Partners include individuals and institutions such as schools, colleges and universities, embassies, international organizations, businesses, associations, and community organizations.

International Education Week (IEW) November 14-18.

The Fulbright Foundation in Greece joins the celebration of IEW 2022 throughout the month of November with the following events:

1. Virtual Group Advising Sessions – November 2022
Undergraduate Studies in the U.S.A.: November 3, 2022 / 4:00 – 5:00 pm EET
Graduate Studies in the U.S.A. and Fulbright Scholarships: November 29, 2022 / 4:00 – 5:00 pm EET

2. International Academic Partnership Program - Pharos Summit 2022

Greek U.S. collaboration in Higher Education November 6-10, 2022
A delegation of more than 30 U.S. Universities will visit Greece, attend a high-level forum with rectors and administrators from all Greek universities, and meet with the major entities in U.S. – Greek higher education collaboration. Fulbright Greece will participate in the official events organized by the Institute of International Education-IIE in partnership with the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs.

3. International Universities Fair – Undergraduate Studies Abroad
Fulbright Greece will be present with its own table at the first International Universities Fair, hosted by Pierce – The American College of Greece

4. Where are they today? - Live Webinar with Q&A
EducationUSA Greece alumni advisees talk about their experience on studying and living in the U.S. (for undergraduate bound students), where they are today and how their experiences have shaped where they are today. They will also share some helpful tips about preparing, selecting and applying to U.S. colleges and universities.

5. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Macedonia - Online Outreach Events
Graduate U.S. Studies and Fulbright Scholarships
An event on Graduate Studies abroad supported by the respective university career offices for alumni and current students

 6. Financing your Undergraduate Studies in the U.S. - ZOOM Meeting with Q&A
EducationUSA Advisors Nicholas Tourides and Els Hanappe will shed some light on opportunities, myths and realities in regard to financial assistance. They will be joined by Greek-American Elianna Kondyli, senior high school student at The Nueva School in California, who updated the Survey of Undergraduate International Student Scholarships Offered by U.S. Colleges initiated by her sister Ioanna in a bid to help their Greek peers.
