Where are they today? A Zoom Webinar on Studying and Living in the U.S.

Fulbright Greece hosted an online webinar with Petros Perselis (Brown/Stanford) as part two of the "Where are they Today" series. In these series #EducationUSA Athens alumni advisees talk about their experience on studying and living in the U.S. and how these experiences have shaped where they are today.

During this interactive event Petros highlighted his own path, offered advice to those interested in U.S. studies and provided his insight on selecting and applying to the higher education institutions in the U.S. and finding the right fit. The session was coordinated by Nicholas Tourides, Educational Advisor/American Program Coordinator who offered a brief intro on advising services at Fulbright Greece and took questions from the audience.  

Participants were able to raise questions via the Q&A Zoom webinar feature. The presentation took place in English.

Petros is based in New York and is currently the VP of Global Customer Success at Hack The Box, a B2B enterprise software scale-up founded and headquartered in Greece. Hack The Box has presence in the USA, EMEA and APAC regions, and offers cybersecurity upskilling solutions to Fortune 500 companies, state departments and the armed forces of numerous countries. In the past, Petros held leadership positions at Cutover, Qualtrics and Medallia where he experienced strong growth, 2 IPOs and subsequent acquisitions. He's an expert in Go-To-Market strategy and serves as a mentor at Endeavor Greece, frequently advising startups and scaleups. He also serves as the Treasurer of Deon Policy Institute, a non-profit non-partisan think tank making data-driven policy recommendations to the Greek state. Petros was awarded Greek America's 40 Under 40 in 2022. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brown University and Stanford University respectively.
