Amherst College, Amherst, MA
Environmental Studies
September 2026 - July 2027

Malva is a graduate of Amherst College, where she majored in Environmental Studies. She is the recipient of several fellowships supporting travel and educational development, including the Nagle Fellowship in Asian Arts, the National Science Foundation STEMSEAS Research Fellowship, and the Folger Shakespeare Undergraduate Research Fellowship. While at Amherst College, Malva worked as a Tour Guide for the Office of Admissions, and as the Communications Intern for both the Office of Sustainability, and the Office of Global Education. This will be her second year as a Teaching Fellow at Athens College-HAEF, and she could not be more excited to continue to engage with the school’s community. She is thankful to both Fulbright Greece and Athens College-HAEF for the opportunity. In her free time, Malva likes to read, track Skyscanner for her next destination, and practice the Greek skill of finding a good coffee.
