The Fulbright exchange program was one of the best professional experiences I have experienced.The colllaboration with NUY helped in many ways. First, I came into contact with the university community and had the pleasure to share with them viewpoints  and know-how, learning along the way how the U.S. educational system works. I cooperated with students from different departments for the translation, design and development of my project, the Seven Years of Night site, which has been uploaded to the university server. In addition and following an agreement with the university, the continuation and supplementation of the program has been guaranteed for the next five years. 

During my Fulbright grant, I had the honor to teach for a semester the course Photography and Democracy, following an invitation from the NYU Tisch School of Arts, and I had the pleasure to present the project and other photo projects in lectures at NYU, Princeton University, and the Bronx Documentary Centre.
