Literature/Classics, The Ohio State University, Columbus
In the midst of the pandemic, during winter 2020-2021, Dr. Paschalis Nikolaou, Assistant Professor in Literary Translation at the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting of the Ionian University in Corfu, departed for the U.S. to visit The Ohio State University in Columbus to take up his research on Presences of Classical Poetry and Drama in U.S. Authors post-2001: Intertextuality, Reception, Translation. Despite the many restrictions and difficulties, he managed to meet renowned American poet Rachel Hadas in New York for an interview, which can now be read in the online literary journal, Literary Matters Issue 14.2 (published in the U.S. by The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC).
