The Fulbright Foundation in Greece is pleased to announce the 2020 U.S. Virtual University Fair, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm local time Athens (UTC+3 EEST).
This year's Fair will be offered online and visitors will have the opportunity to visit this webpage to:
- View Colleges and Universities' profiles and short videos from a variety of U.S. accredited higher education based in the United States of America and elsewhere in the world
- Sign up with each institution individually to view short presentations and/or join Questions and Answers sessions (Q&A) and chat with admission officers
- Jump in and out of sessions to get an overview of many U.S. higher education institutions at the same time
Who is this for?
The event is open to students, parents, counselors, educators and anyone with an interest in U.S. higher education.
Format of U.S. Virtual University Fair
Participating U.S. Colleges and Universities
This webpage will soon start hosting short videos and profiles of participating institutions. Colleges and Universities will be added as they become available and approximately up to one month prior to the event. Visitors who are interested to participate will need to review the institutions and sign up with as many as they like keeping in mind the institutions' scheduled sessions. Each institution will be hosting its own presentations and Q&A sessions and these times will be posted next to the institution's profile.
Presentations by Fulbright Greece: Undergraduate and Graduate U.S. Studies and the Fulbright Scholarship Program
Fulbright Greece educational advisors will present a variety of sessions for students interested in studying in the United States. These live sessions aim to answer students’ general questions about U.S. higher education such as selecting institutions to apply to, how to prepare, financial assistance, testing and other inquiries that students may have. Prospective candidates for Fulbright scholarships will be able to learn about eligibility and prerequisites, the overall procedure involved, financial matters and what it means to be a Fulbrighter.
The presentations will be offered during these hours and will require participants' registration
6:00 pm - Undergraduate Studies in the U.S.
7:00 pm - Graduate Studies in the U.S.
8:00 pm - Fulbright Scholarships
