Charlotte graduated from Stonehill College in 2019 with a dual degree in Elementary Education and English. Upon completing her degree, she became a licensed teacher for grades 1-6 with a special endorsement for teaching sheltered English immersion. While at Stonehill, Charlotte loved engaging with her local and global community through service work. For three years she led student groups on immersion experiences to question social justice issues. Her favorite of these experiences was the examination of educational inequality and access to resources in urban schools in Peru. During her student teaching, she created a social-emotional curriculum targeting essential social skills that culminated in her students completing a community service project. She is excited to learn more about her new students and to continue growing as an educator through examining educational practices and curriculum in Greece.
