American Studies, University of Illinois at Chicago
1992 American Studies Summer Institute participant

Having been a 1992-93 Fulbright grantee has enlightened my professional life and has given me precious educational experiences, which I always treasure as it was the one and only time in my life that I visited the U.S.A. and its universities. Meeting the new 2019-20 grantees gave me the rewarding feeling that there is hope for education worldwide. Nice people, dedicated educators with vivre and tenacity will have the opportunity to live their dream and get the most of this experience to be transferred to their classes for the benefit of their 'children' and the local communities once they are back.
