For academic year 2016-2017 the Foundation launched a new grant category for Greek citizens: the Doctoral Dissertation Visiting Research Students grant. This program, meeting the need for short-term programs in the United States, is addressed to students currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a Greek institution of higher education who would benefit from a research period in the U.S., either for one semester or 6-months.
