George Mark Kailas has worked for the Permanent Missions to the United Nations of Greece and the United States, the Permanent Representation of Greece to the European Union, the US Department of State, and the International Institutions and Global Governance Program of the Council on Foreign Relations. His research focuses on the application of statistics and other quantitative methods in analyzing voting behavior in multilateral and supranational institutions, such as the UN General Assembly and European Council. As a Fulbright Research Grantee in Greece, George will be continuing his research with the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working closely with Dr. Stylianos Zachariou.
