Dr. Alexandros Lappas, 2016-2017 Greek Fulbright Visiting Scholar to Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, New York, and Research Director at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), Crete, was awarded with a competitive U.S. Office of Naval Research Grant that will provide significant funding and permit the Heraklion based team to continue their collaboration with U.S. colleagues for the next 3 years.
